The National Opera in Timisoara presents The Merry Widow on February 14 2024

About this part that he undertook many times in different versions of the operetta, Åžtefan von Korch says: “Performing for the audience in Timisoara is a thrill and honor, and a new rendition of this role that I played many times before, in the Opera Houses of Iasi and Cluj is a challenge that I look forward to.â€� “The Merry Widowâ€� staged by the Opera House in TimiÅŸoara is directed by Mario De Carlo, who also signs the costumes and scenography. The performance will be conducted under the baton of Hermann Szabolcs. In other roles: Octavian Vlaicu (Mirko Zeta), Crina Vezentan (Valencienne), Cristian Rudic (Danillo), Mihaela Marcu (Hanna Glavari), Mircea Dan Petcu (Vicontele Cascadă) and Dan Patacă (Raoul de St Brioche). The performance is scheduled on February 14 from 19.00.
