[ Din categoria News ] [ Subcategorie Viena StaatsOper ] [ Data articol: 2021-03-23 ] [ Din localitatea Viena ] [ Tara Austria ]   In the upcoming streaming week the Vienna State Operawill be showing a varied programme from its extensive digital archive at play.wiener-staatsoper.at: The first will be Donizetti`s Don Pasquale, a recording of the 2015 premiere series, with Jesús López Cobos and Michele Pertusi, Valentina Naforniţă, Juan Diego Flórez and Alessio Arduini (23 and 26 March), followed by Verdi`s Rigoletto from 2016 with Carlos Ã�lvarez, Juan Diego Flórez, Olga Peretyatko and Evelino Pidò conducting (24 March) and Massenet`s Manon from 2019 with Frédéric Chaslin, Nino Machaidze, Juan Diego Flórez and Adrian Eröd (25 March). The rest of the streaming week is dedicated to Richard Wagner. The Vienna State Opera will be streaming Der fliegende Holländer from 2015 (conductor: Peter Schneider) with Michael Volle, Hans-Peter König, Ricarda Merbeth and Herbert Lippert (27 March), the first two evenings of the Ring tetralogy from 2016 conducted by Adam Fischer follow with Das Rheingold and Die Walküre. The cast for Das Rheingold includes Tomasz Konieczny, Norbert Ernst, Jochen Schmeckenbecher, Herwig Pecoraro and Michaela Schuster (28 March) and for Die Walküre Christopher Ventris, Ain Anger, Waltraud Meier, Linda Watson and Tomasz Konieczny (29 March). All streams listed below are available free of charge in Austria as well as internationally on our website play.wiener-staatsoper.at. Each begins at 7:00 p.m. and the broadcasts can be accessed for 24 hours.
