Up to 7th September, 54 evenings with 6 opera titles and 3 special evenings present the Festival of the New Century on the world’s largest open-air stage. The choice of acclaimed names from the international opera scene, stars much loved by Arena audiences, will perform led by famous orchestral conductors and world-famous directors as they interpret the immortal roles of Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera and Aida, a title presented in two separate stagings, Puccini’s Turandot and Madama Butterfly by, Bizet’s Carmen and Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette and for 3 unmissable evenings: Plácido Domingo sings Verdi, Roberto Bolle and Friends and Carmina Burana.
